Aquarius and Tinkerbell

Aquarius was adopted back in 2018, after a couple failed attempts, we adopted Tinkerbell in 2020. They now love eachother so much 💗 and we love them so much too!

Onion

Onion's introduction to his new home couldn't have gone better. He purred constantly as he explored his new home and loves exploring outside. Over the last year he's developed his personality, but is just as polite and intelligent as the day he arrived. He always gets complements from the vet for being very brave and calm. We are absolutely besotted, thank you so much Bristol ARC for matching us.

Erin

Erin has brought us so much joy, happiness and laughter into our lives. We are truly grateful for the support from the Bristol Animal Rescue Centre, and couldn't be more happy with the advice and support we received!

Staff at Bristol A.R.C.

Oscar (Was Rusty) came to be with us a year ago. Though he is still a very shy boy after a very bad start to life. He is constantly changing month after month as he learns that his life now is one where he has the freedom to be the character he is turning out to be. He loves to play, beating up his Gonk, and smashing balls around the house being his favourite pastime. He is also turning out to be the most devoted little boy, while making it known he thinks he is in charge. Oscar is a special boy.

Freddie

Freddie has settled so well in his first year. He is a boisterous ,fun loving Jack Russell terrier. He is still obsessed with playing catch with a tennis ball. Considering we don't know his history as he was a stray he loves other dogs and enjoys playing and having cuddles at home. The Bristol A.R.C looked after him so well, his vet said his health was 100% at his first visit.

Lister (formerly Barley)

Reading down these dedications is lovely as I feel we’ve had the same experience as everyone else, which is down to Bristol ARC. We’re so happy we found Lister (formerly Barley), it sounds cheesy but he has completed our lives! He’s pretty loopy and a total character, zipping around the place or meowing to demand cuddles or food. He bonded with us really quickly and we feel like we’ve had him forever. Thank you for taking him in and looking after him after his rough start x

Vida (Miss Vida Boheme)

Vida had a less than ideal start to life but thanks to the amazing staff at the rescue centre I got to adopt the cuddliest, sassiest, most loving ball of fun there is. Four years ago you completed our family and continue to bring us joy and make us laugh daily. 💕

Bluey

Bluey has completed our family, he's so funny loving and caring he's the best friend I needed. He's my first rescue and is beyond the best decision ever made. He loves his human sister, running round having zoomies and being part of family life. So shocked bluey was in a situation where he needed a home as to me he's perfect and I'd never be without him no matter how hard work he can be. Worth it. Amazing more memories to come. Best addition to the family love my little boy!

Bagel

We adopted Bagel almost a year ago on Valentine's day! She has overcome many hurdles and is now living her dream life as a spoiled (and very loved) beagle. Bagel has made many friends and absolutely loves having a sniff around our local forest. She makes our house a home ❤️

Percy

We adopted Percy a year ago and he has come so far from the shy, anxious little boy we brought home. Percy now has a really loving, goofy and talkative personality which we absolutely adore, and we will be forever grateful to Bristol ARC for bringing him into our lives.

Wally (previously Walkers)

We adopted Wally nearly a year ago. He is the dearest little chap who is full of love and mischief. He is the cente of our home and constantly provides us with so much joy. We are grateful to Bristol ARC for taking such good care of him and giving us the chance to bring him to his forever home ❤️

Penny

Now Penny is like our baby! She offers us a lot of joy!

King Louie aka Sir Butterump

We adopted our King in 2015 - he plays fetch, loves his food and a good snuggle! He’s a whole personality and we love him to bits ❤️

Flora

We adopted little Flora five months ago, she was so tiny but such a feisty character! She has really come into her own and now rules the roost, living her best life in her new home. Thank you Bristol ARC for the fantastic work you do!

Deedee

I adopted Deedee (formerly Vivienne) in 2021 and she made herself at home from day 1. She develops new habits and games all the time, making me laugh every day. She’s got me wrapped around her little paw but I wouldn’t have it any other way! ❤️

Hazel

We adopted Hazel last October. She is a timid girl as I think she has been through a lot but so sweet, well behaved and always very hungry! She is now part of the family.

Ripley

I adopted Ripley (formerly Jezebel) from ARC in 2019 and I can't imagine my life without her. She is wonderful, although a bit miffed that we adopted her a sister!

Turbo ❤️ (was Coco)

Turbo was certainly hard work when I adopted him, but it was well worth all the work, he's such a loving cuddly boy and he certainly lives up to his name ❤️

Jake

We adopted Jake in September and from day 1 he has slotted perfectly into our little family. He is the most chilled and relaxed cat who loves nothing more than sleeping,snoozing and napping oh and his treats. We are glad we adopted him and can't imagine life without him now

Rosie Pose (Matilda)

We can’t see life without her!! We think our cat Emmie who passed in May last year 😢 sent her! They have the same missing canine tooth and habits!! xx

Gaucho

Adopting Gaucho is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made - thank you for giving me more joy than I could ever imagine, my sweet little prince!

Gremlin

We adopted Gremlin only a few weeks ago and he is the cuddliest and most playful little guy! He appears to have made himself at home already 😊

Remy and Emile

We adopted Remy and Emile last Summer and they are such an amazing pair! They’ve brought us so much joy as our first rats! Proper little characters 🐀🐀

Halo

We got halo when she 8 weeks old after being left outside in a basket. She is completely deaf but super weird 😂 and filled our lives with so much love 🤍🤍🤍

Rosie

Rosie you make us laugh every day and fill our hearts with love and joy. You are so silly and goofy and it has been so amazing watching you turn into a confident dog. You have been so amazing with your (sometimes!) sassy sister. The first time we saw you run will stay with us forever. Love you xx

Nala and Milo

We adopted Nala and Milo in 2023 and they are so much a part of our family now, we couldn’t imagine life without them. They have grown so much and get cheekier with every day. Thank you so much for caring for them and bringing them into our lives xxx
